INSIGHTS from / for ISLANDS

From Antigua to Vanuatu: COE & TNO share preliminary insights         from the 7 missions to other islands

Did you know Aruba has been helping other small islands like Antigua, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Seychelles, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu?

On behalf of the Aruba Centre of Excellence for the Sustainable Development of Small Island Developing States (COE), the independent research organization TNO Caribbean was asked to provide technical assistance to other small island states. Focus areas were Renewable Energy, Sustainable Tourism and Waste Management. The intent was not only to help them, but also to gather insights that would benefit other islands, including Aruba.

The missions have recently been completed. Join us for a first conversation with the TNO experts to hear from their experience. What did they see, what did they learn, and how can it benefit Aruba? And feel free to ask your own questions, of course.

It will be an informal conversation with Jennifer PolmanAlba DeAgustin and Juan Avellaner of TNO, facilitated by Arno Boersma of the COE.
