Mission
The Aruba Institute for Good Governance & Leadership aims at improving the quality of Public and Corporate Governance on the island. By enhancing expertise, establishing collaboration and building capacities, the Aruba Institute for Good Governance & Leadership contributes to effective and legitimate leadership on the island and in the region. This leadership is aimed at strengthening the integrity, responsibility and sustainability of governance in the public and private sector.
Activities
The Aruba Institute for Good Governance & Leadership will organize activities for public and private professionals, civil servants, politicians, scholars, administrators and board members, as well as for opinion leaders and the Aruban public at large. In due time the *GG&L will extend its activities by organizing seminars, training, research and consultancy.
Organization
The Aruba Institute for Good Governance & Leadership is an independent, multi-disciplinary and not-for-profit competence centre of the University of Aruba. All faculties of the university work together, in close cooperation with partners from the Aruban and regional society. The *GG&L will not function as a separate organization, but rather function as a platform and an umbrella from which we organize and promote our activities in the domain of Good Governance & Leadership that have meaning for the broader Aruban society.
