About US
The library of the University of Aruba is a cozy and small library that is located on the 1st floor of this University. The library is open to all who want to enter. All materials can be consulted in the library. Students who wish to borrow books need their student ID card to do so. All other persons need to become a member of the University library first to do so. For more information about the different membership options please contact the library or click here.

Our services
Lending to UA students
The library of the University of Aruba has an important and very useful collection of books, journals, and other publications for each faculty student. The UA student card is also your library card and can be used to borrow books. The loan period is three (3) or two (2) weeks with a maximum of ten (10) books. To renew the loan period (only possible when there are no reservations made on the book) please call (582-3901 ext. 225 or 234), send an email or go to the information desk of the library. Please note that some journals, books and certain reference materials are not for loan but can only be consulted in the library.
Lending to non-students
The library of the University of Aruba offers its services to persons and institutions who are interested in its collection and/or other services. Non-students of the University of Aruba have to become a member of the library first in order to be able to borrow books, to have access to computers in the library, and/or to have access to one or more of the databases/online journals.

Facilities
Computers: students can log in to one of the four (4) computers in the library;
they only need their UA username and password to do so. It is also possible for students
to print from these computers. The computers are situated at the entrance of the
library and at the study-room of the library.
Photocopying: the University library offers self-service photocopying. The copier
takes cards that can be purchased at the reception of the University. The prices
for a photocopy card vary from 5 florins to10 florins with a deposit of 2.50 florins.
Study-room: the study-room is available for approximately twenty (20) people. Group
consultation is possible in the study-room as long as no one else is in there.
