Student development fund (SDF)

The Student Development Fund was established by the Office of student affairs of the University of Aruba to support the ambitions of students. The aim is to build a sustainable fund to provide students with valuable micro-finance assistance for years to come. To achieve our goal we need support from our growing business community and alumni. We want as many students as possible to achieve their goals and have the best experience they can while studying at the University of Aruba. Social entrepreneur venture: Achieve!

During the last three years, we have noticed an increase in the request for financial support and support for purchasing academic books. There has also been substantial growth in student’s interests for opportunities to be part of a study abroad program as well as a growth in prospective entrepreneurial ventures.

We believe each student at the University of Aruba, as a future global citizen, should have the opportunity to relish the many opportunities the University of Aruba has to offer. We, therefore, thought of a social entrepreneurial venture that could help these students to achieve their goals.
