Student organizations

We encourage you to get involved with the different student organizations active at the University of Aruba, such as The Student Council of the University of Aruba (SUA), The Kiwanis Circle K International Service Club of the University of Aruba (CKI), The University of Aruba Toastmasters Club (UATC), The Investment Study Club University of Aruba (ISCUA), Making Aruba a Greener Environment Club (MAGEC) and the Debating Society of the University of Aruba. Students can also join organizations active outside the university, such as the Parlamento Hubenil (PH) – the Youth Parliament of Aruba.

Get involved!

Student clubs and organizations offer an important opportunity for students to get involved at the University of Aruba. Getting involved on-campus and off-campus allows you to express your creativity and enriches your college experience. You have the opportunity to make new friends, network, and grow as an individual.

The UA also runs a student magazine, the UNIA magazine, which overflows with information regarding student life, exchange experience, and student – and lecturer achievements. To get involved with the UNIA magazine contact osa@ua.aw.

Faculties may also offer special facilities for students in certain courses, so it is worth checking out the facilities on offer for students in your field. You will find moot courts for Law students, the Student Committee (StuCo) for future professionals for students of Organization, Governance and Management, the Dean’s Honor List for students of Hospitality Tourism and Management, the Social Work Student Board of Social Work and Development — the list goes on!

Get involved in your community, explore your talents and experience the many opportunities the University has to offer!
