Investment Study Club
Who are we?
The Investment Study Club University of Aruba (ISCUA) has existed since 2008 and has 15 members. The goal of the ISCUA is on the one hand to share knowledge on investing and on the other hand to let our money work for the members of the club. The members pool their resources together to invest in exchange-traded securities.
Meetings
The club meets on a monthly basis. In these meetings, investment opportunities are discussed and decisions are made to invest in certain shares or investment opportunities. Two investment platforms – Firsttrade and Interactive Brokers – allow the club to make quick investments. Via these brokers, we can buy and sell shares in seconds.
In monthly meetings, we look for the optimal investment opportunities in the international Stock Exchanges and we screen local investment opportunities. Members pay a monthly fee, which is invested in shares or other investment opportunities.
Also in the monthly meetings, specialists present topics like:
- Investment opportunities in Aruba,
- Investments in shares,
- Investments in options,
- Investments in small caps,
- etc.
But also: Psychology of investment opportunities or Stock Exchanges in Argentina.

Members of the club pay a monthly contribution of AWG. 100,- a month. Students of the University of Aruba pay only AWG. 25,- a month.
